As budget talks are underway for Montcalm County’s 2023 fiscal year, some county officials discussed the “psychology” behind what makes someone take a job as a prosecutor versus a defense attorney.

County commissioners met for budget talks on July 13 and July 15, led by Vice Chairman Adam Petersen (commissioners Jeremy Miller and Scott Painter were absent from both meetings). Budget talks will continue on July 27.
